From 1 May 2024, Companies House will be increasing various filing fees for the handling and processing of forms and paperwork required by companies to stay compliant.
The costs are said to reflect the actual costs of processing company information, as well as allowing for greater checks and verification on the legitimacy of those listed on the register, and that they are not being used for illegal activity.
In most cases, the new fees for filing on paper rather than online are at least double to encourage people to use the online resources and reduce the potential for error. There will also be a higher charge if you want the change to take affect on the same day.

Incorporation – £50
Change of name – £20
Confirmation statement – £34
Registration of a charge – £24
