The Government has this week released a partnership pack providing guidance on what do in the event of a ‘no deal’ exit from the European Union (Brexit).

They say that they are still expecting a Brexit deal to be reached by the end of the year, but in case that does not happen they have published several papers advising on what is likely to happen and what action you would need to take.

The papers focus understandably on those dealing in customs situations that would be most immediately effected by a ‘ no deal’ – importers and exporters trading within the EU, tour operators in the EU and haulage companies, but other areas are covered.

The packs can be found on the link here. The packs can be downloaded and saved in PDF versions.

Obviously, this is a continually evolving process and negotiations could change things, but this is the Government’s best advice for a ‘no deal’ Brexit as it stands today.
